Winston Sirmans


Winston Sirmans is an experienced, licensed real estate broker with a degree from the University of Georgia in Journalism and Public Relations. A native of Waycross, GA, he and his wife, the former Millie Starnes, have resided in Rome since 1967. They have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
Winston is an active communicant and former vestry member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Georgia Board of Realtors and Rome Board of Realtors. He is currently on the Floyd County Board of Equalization, Floyd County Landlords Association, President of the Appalachian Housing Authority of NWGA, Treasurer of the North Rome Action Committee, and a board member of DIGS organization.
Winston has been active in civic organizations serving as a Paul Harris Fellow for Rotary, member and former board member of Coosa Country Club, and a former member and President of Darlington Lower School Booster Club.
As owner and manager of Abernathy Well Drilling Company, he served on the State of Georgia Water Well Standards Advisory Board and various committees, as well as President of Georgia Water Well Drilling Association. Most recently, Winston has served as owner/manager/broker of Sirmans Realty.
