Siri Selle
“Alle fortjener et sted å kalle hjem.”
Everyone deserves a place to call home.
Long before she entered real estate, Siri Selle was already a fixture in Rome’s cultural landscape, known for helping other members of the community to create a sense of “home” through her art and design. As a dedicated advocate for the local arts and a seasoned entrepreneur, Selle brings a “Shop Local” small-business mentality and a deep-rooted passion for community engagement and advancement to everything she does.
Selle officially joined Toles, Temple & Wright in late 2025, a move sparked by her long-standing friendship with the Temple family through their shared involvement at Darlington School. Her transition into real estate was a natural evolution; she has spent years leveraging her design talents to invest in, renovate, and sell residential properties alongside her husband. Together, they developed a successful portfolio of hip downtown Rome short-term rentals as part of the initial Airbnb boom in Floyd County.
While building and designing a home from the ground up originally ignited her interest in the industry, becoming a licensed agent was the logical next step for the growing family business. Selle’s primary focus at TTW is residential real estate, though she offers a wealth of personal experience in the investor and commercial segments. Her “left-brain/right-brain” approach allows her to easily pivot from crunching numbers to envisioning the design potential of a space, serving her clients in a unique, holistic manner.
Originally from the seaside town of Haugesund, Norway — located south of the cultural hub of Bergen — Selle discovered her love for creative expression at The Waldorf School of Art and Philosophy. Her journey to the U.S. began as a 17-year-old exchange student in Pensacola, where she played on a traveling soccer team.
After returning to Norway to graduate from The Waldorf School in 1999, Selle moved back to the U.S. to pursue her art education. She first attended Young Harris College to play soccer before transferring to Shorter College in 2001. There, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting with a minor in psychology and met her future husband, JP, a native of Chile.
Upon graduating in 2003, Selle launched an art therapy program at the Floyd Training Center for adults with developmental disabilities. Her entrepreneurial spirit led to the 2005 establishment of Studio Siri, a versatile art studio and frame shop. In 2013, she expanded her operations by acquiring a long-standing local gallery, now known as Hanging Around Rome by Studio Siri.
Selle’s ongoing advocacy for the local arts is fueled, in part, by the enthusiastic support and community spirit she has experienced throughout Floyd County, Northwest Georgia and beyond. Selle’s artwork — noted for its celebration of streetscapes, architecture, and vibrant abstract themes — has been exhibited from southwestern Norway to the Georgia State Capitol. Notable highlights include her 2014 solo exhibition, “I Love Rome,” and her 2018 retrospective, “Milestone: My Creative Journey,” which featured over 70 original pieces. In 2023, Selle marked two decades of Studio Siri with a special anniversary art show at the Historic DeSoto Theatre in Downtown Rome.
Selle is driven by the belief that creative expression is an essential human need. Since 2011, she has dedicated her talents to her adopted community through her HeARTworks initiative, a project designed to give back through art and education. Proceeds from the sale of her signature painted hearts provide free supplies and fund art lessons for underprivileged children. Central to HeARTworks is Selle’s hands-on work with local youth, many of whom are served by Restoration Rome and the Y. By removing financial barriers, she encourages these young artists to push the boundaries of expression and explore their creativity without inhibition.
Siri Selle and her husband, local tennis pro JP Selle, live in Rome’s Horseleg Estates neighborhood with their two sons, Felipe and Matias. A true global citizen, Selle is multilingual, speaking English, her native Norwegian, Spanish, Danish, and German.
