Miles Bearden

Miles Bearden’s roots run deep in Northwest Georgia. He was raised on a cattle farm in Cartersville and spent his formative years immersed in his family’s real estate, development, and home-building business — Northwest Realty Services. A 2013 graduate of Darlington School, Miles earned a track and field scholarship from Kansas State University, where the high jumper met his future wife — a pole-vaulter for the Wildcats. He went on to graduate from K-State in 2018 with a degree in economics and agricultural business.

After college, Miles gained valuable, wide-ranging professional experience across the country. In Kansas City, Kan., he worked as a commodity broker and financial risk management consultant, and later designed and sold foundation repair solutions. While supporting his wife’s pediatric dental residency in Salt Lake City, he formally entered the real estate industry, obtaining his Utah license and also establishing Apex Home Inspections.

Miles’ hands-on inspection background and familiarity with new construction set him apart. He is not just focused on transactions; he provides his clients with a clear and comprehensive view of a property’s true condition. His ability to quickly assess a house’s quality and identify potential issues — long before an official inspection — is a distinct advantage for both buyers navigating the market and sellers preparing their homes. Licensed in Georgia, Miles focuses on real estate transactions primarily in Floyd County and Bartow County, where he leverages his local knowledge to the fullest.

After several years in the Midwest, Miles, his wife, Megan (now a pediatric dentist in Dalton), and their son, Banks, returned to Northwest Georgia in summer 2025, settling in Kingston. The decision to enter real estate in the area that raised him was a natural fit — a fun way to get back to his roots and pursue a career that keeps him engaged outside of a traditional office environment and always on the go. In addition to his real estate work with Toles, Temple & Wright, he is now operating Apex Home Inspections in Georgia.

Outside of his career, Miles is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys mountain biking, road cycling, and racing, along with snow skiing, fly fishing, and golfing.
