I make it my priority that my sellers and my buyers are happy! Everybody needs to feel comfortable and confident when they leave the closing table.

Mary Patton has served as a licensed sales associate with Toles, Temple & Wright, Inc. since she entered the local real estate sector in 1989. As such, she specializes in residential realty in Rome. A native of Atlanta, the future REALTOR attended E. Rivers Elementary School and graduated from Northside High School. She met her husband, Stephen, a Rome native, while obtaining her associate degree in arts from Reinhardt College.

She followed Stephen back to Rome, relocating in 1977, and fell in love with the community. There they built a life and a family together, which brought into the world one daughter, Margaret, and a son, Pat. Their grandchildren include Sam, Nora and Rachel, as well as a great-granddaughter, Patience.

Mary grew up as one of two daughters in a family of five children. As the proud big sister to a beloved “angel brother,” Michael, she is passionate about causes that help differently-abled individuals to develop important life skills that contribute to their independence. She loves volunteering with different related organizations in the Rome-Floyd County community, including DIGS.

Outside of real estate, Mary enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Her hobbies also include making cards for her friends and reading. She and Stephen reside in their circa 1910 cottage in the Between the Rivers Historic District of Downtown Rome.
