Connor Land
Connor Land was not only born and raised right here in Rome — he grew up in a family already deeply entrenched in the Northwest Georgia real estate community. As the grandson of both the late J.L. Todd and Toles, Temple & Wright’s own David Barton, great nephew to Earl Robinson, and the eldest son of Amy and Randy Land, obtaining his real estate license in May 2021 was a natural progression.
In May 2026, Connor and his wife, the former Sally Whitley, returned to Rome from Jacksonville, Fla., to be closer to their families and lifelong friends — fulfilling their goal of building a life together in the Coosa Valley. Before joining TTW shortly after the move, Connor served as director of land acquisitions and director of loan origination for Woodland Capital. In these roles, he worked alongside real estate development companies throughout the Southeast, identifying investment properties for horizontal developers to prepare for sale to home builders. Additionally, he gained experience working with developers on single-family homes, rental properties, and land flips.
A 2016 graduate of Model High School, where he focused on his passion for baseball, Connor went on to study sports management at Kennesaw State University before pursuing a career in real estate. Prior to his time in Florida and Metro Atlanta, he interned at Toles, Temple & Wright and RidgeBerry Property Management. As an intern, he gained firsthand experience in the dynamics of local real estate and development markets, shadowing various functions, observing the full buying and selling process, attending industry events, and sitting in on governmental meetings, all while honing his interpersonal communication skills.
As an active young professional, Connor enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. With his lifelong hereditary affinity for real estate, he finds the most rewarding aspect to be helping clients find a property — an opportunity — they can truly fall in love with. He takes pride in witnessing the joy that this new chapter brings to clients. He is also energized by the networking aspect of the industry, as it provides constant opportunities to meet new people and learn from their unique experiences.
While his specialty is, quite fittingly, land, Connor is also primed to assist commercial and residential real estate clients. At this exciting new juncture in his life, he looks forward to re-integrating into the local community and becoming more involved.
The Lands live in Rome with their English springer spaniel, Duke — a nod to Connor’s favorite basketball team. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, whether playing golf, hiking at Berry College, or spending summers visiting Guana Beach in Ponte Vedra, Fla. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, he also enjoys rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs, tailgating in Athens with his wife — a proud UGA alumna — hanging out with friends, and enjoying the special bond he shares with his three younger brothers, often through friendly ping-pong rivalries.
