I am a native Roman.  I graduated with honors from both Pepperell High and the University Georgia College of Pharmacy (Cum Laude 1977).  After over 40 years as a Registered Pharmacist, 22 years of which as Director of Pharmacy Services across Redmond Regional Medical Center and Cartersville Medical Center, I enter Real Estate as a second career.  I am a graduate of Jason Free School of Real Estate, obtaining my license in May of 2019.

My wife is the former Kathy Cook, and I have two adult children; Kathy has three.  I have faithfully attended First Baptist Church Rome for over 20 years.  My hobbies include physical fitness, home improvement projects, and I enjoy amateur landscape design.

I have had the good fortune of working with numerous high-quality healthcare professionals in a fast pace world where attention to detail is essential.  Pharmacy, as a discipline in the healthcare industry, has been in the running for the most trusted profession since Gallup began this poll in 1976.  Often described as a lifesaving profession, I had the honor of helping with medication management of patients as part of my daily work life.  It has been enormously rewarding.  Additionally, as a manager for 22 years, my day was defined by problem solving within complex healthcare systems.

As a past member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Georgia Society of Hospital Pharmacist, my commitment has always been to the highest ethical behavior through support of current practice standards.  I bring that same commitment to real estate.  My objective is to help you define your needs and work to meet them.  My backing comes from the highly established Toles Temple and Wright team

My interest in real estate began after college when I learned to buy a house, improve it, sell, and repeat.  I cut my teeth on a shovel, saw, and hammer.  No, I am not a professional builder, but I understand residential construction and how it has changed.  I bring value added service to real estate prospects with experience that ranges from a thorough remodel of a home that was built in 1958 to a new home that I both designed and help build.  That new home was finished in 2015 and is my 7th home to own.  There are few parts of residential construction that I have not touched.

If you want to sell, I have the full backing of Toles and Temple Wright to market your home for a successful sale.  If you are considering investing, TTW has the muscle to help you make the right decisions.  If you are a first-time home buyer, I will be there to help you navigate all the details of becoming a homeowner.  If you are considering a sweat equity purchase, I will help you understand choices that make the most economic sense.  If you want a “gut and redo” project, I will say “you can do it.”  If you want to build a new home, I will be an asset to help you find the right spot and put you in contact with professionals that can make your home happen.  Finally, if you are approaching retirement and are considering downsizing for your golden years, let me put my 10 years of experience in long-term acute care with Kindred Hospital into gear for you.  I know I can offer counseling for a purchase that will help you stay in your home if health challenges come your way.

My motto is: Let’s talk real estate, it is about you.  I look forward to getting to know you and your needs.  Please give me a call.
