David Tucker

David Tucker is a native of Fort Payne, Ala., where his maternal grandfather was a respected real estate broker, and his uncles were licensed sales agents. Real estate has always been in his blood, and in April 2024, David continued the family tradition by joining Toles, Temple & Wright, Inc. as a licensed REALTOR.

Just before his senior year of high school, David’s family relocated to Floyd County for his father to pastor a church. After graduating from Model High School, he pursued higher education with a commitment to learning and leadership, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from Shorter College, followed by a Master of Education from Berry College. Later, he went on to obtain Master of Education in Leadership and Specialist in Educational Leadership degrees from Jacksonville State University.

David’s professional career began with Floyd County Schools in 1985, where he dedicated three decades to shaping young minds. From teaching biology, life science, and chemistry at Coosa High School and Coosa Middle School to coaching football at both levels, his influence extended beyond the classroom. He served as the principal of McHenry Primary School for nine years before retiring from the school system after a decade as principal of Model Middle School.

Post-retirement, David served as the executive director of the Coosa River Basin Initiative (CRBI) for two years before becoming the federal programs director for the Polk School District. Additionally, he previously taught evening education administration and curriculum classes at Berry College.

Outside of work, David thrives in the great outdoors. He enjoys trout fishing and embraces the challenge of road races, half marathons, and marathons. In 2022, he completed his first Ironman Triathlon in Memphis.

David and his wife, Michelle, have a large extended family scattered across the state and country. The Tuckers reside on their family farm they established near the Coosa area a few years ago.

As a natural teacher and licensed real estate agent, David understands the importance of providing guidance and education to clients throughout the entire buying and selling process.
