Lori Shaw
“Ah! There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.” This literary quote from my favorite author, Jane Austen, perfectly describes how you should feel in your home. Please allow me to help you find that perfect place!
Lori Shaw joined Toles, Temple & Wright, Inc. in April 2019 as the company’s marketing coordinator. Becoming more involved in the local real estate market, she decided to obtain her real estate license and build a career as a REALTOR. Her previous experience and extensive knowledge of Rome’s business community, together with her marketing savvy, allowed her to make a seamless transition while continuing to build relationships inside and outside of the world of real estate.
Before coming to TTW, Lori worked for the City of Rome as executive assistant to the city manager; and prior to that, at the Rome Floyd Chamber of Commerce, where she served in roles supporting local business and industry services, leadership programs, and reporting directly to the president and CEO. She was also employed for seven years at Suhner Manufacturing, working first in purchasing and later as an executive assistant.
Lori’s unique skillset and professional background have given her a special familiarity and understanding of a wide array of facets of the Rome-Floyd community, including tax abatement opportunities, planning and zoning, and beyond. As a REALTOR, she is able to take this knowledge and apply it to a variety of different clients and their individualized circumstances. In every role she has served and supported, she has been able to reinforce a personal passion to see the community grow and improve for its citizens, business and industry.
Lori is a 1999 graduate of Armuchee High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Shorter College, as well as an associate degree in vascular ultrasound from Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
In her spare time, Lori’s hobbies include cooking, gardening, painting, fishing and hunting, as well as raising chickens. She and her new husband, Tommy, live in Armuchee with her daughter, Sophia. She is also a proud stepmother to Chloe and Ian.
